The purpose of the program is to ensure that third-country national migrants who are unable to stay in Portugal and wish to return voluntarily to their countries of origin can do so in a dignified and secure manner and can be supported to achieve sustainable reintegration, in full respect of their human rights, regardless of their migratory status.

The decision to return to your country can be difficult to take. If you feel that this is the way forward, the IOM team is available to explain how the program works, what support you can receive and answer your questions, so that you can make a voluntary and informed decision.
